Loose-Leaf Black Tea

Obtained from hand-picked tea leaves in the Hemşin region at the foothills of the Kaçkar Mountains, at an altitude of 700 m. The harvested leaves are made naturally withered and rolled to release the sap. The leaves, left to oxidize to boost their flavour, are dried on the wood stove accompanied by locally sourced dried blue spruce trees. After being rested on air for a year, it is carefully packaged.*

This tea gets its sooty flavour from the sooting done during drying. It is processed without a shredder and has a smooth taste since it is loose-leaf.
