For over 500 years, coffee has passed through the sieve of different cultures as one of humankind’s most important energy sources. A fruit that was carefully cultivated by the faraway farmer has been turned into an art form by baristas with a passion for specialty coffee around the globe.

When we looked closely at the step by step process by which this stubby, leafy plant is blended and turned into specialty coffee, we gained a greater appreciation for this spectacular process.
